Row Data
Great for horizontally aligning, comparing & ranking data
Why row charts?
Row charts, like column charts, are a staple plot for comparing data defined by a grouping categorical variable (ie. region, treatment, quarterly results, etc).
Row charts have horizontally aligned labels, which are ideal for working with large datasets.
Data entry
If you select to create a row chart, a table is generated where each column defines a group
and rows represent observations / samples
within groups.
Treatment A | Treatment B | Control |
---|---|---|
80 | 120 | 41 |
60 | 95 | 20 |
70 | 142 |
Have unequal sample sizes? Simply leave cells blank and they will be ignored by Graphmatik.
When you're ready to plot, Graphmatik will automatically parse your data and calculate all necessary descriptive statistics when navigating over to the chart workspace.
Key features
- Each column defines a separate group
- If your data is not paired. You can enter your data in any order.
- If your data is paired (i.e. before and after treatment) the paired samples should be entered on the same row.
Types of row charts
Graphmatik allows you to create 5
subtypes of row charts. Select a plot to learn more.
